First Annual Where: Mabee Aquatic Center, Midland, TX When: June 8-9, 2002 Meet Director: Andy Savas 3003 N. “A” St. Midland, TX 79705 e-mail: asavas2@cox.net Practice: -Friday June 7: 4-8 P.M. the pool will be open for workout. -There will be open workouts from 6-8:45 A.M. Saturday and Sunday. -There will be fifteen-minute warm-ups in between events. -There will be a 45-minute novice warm-up following the JO events on Saturday and a one-hour J.O. warm-up following the Novice events on Sunday. -Courteous tower warm-ups will be allowed during springboard events. Rules: U.S. Diving rules for the 2002 summer nationals will govern the events. Fees: There is a $15 per event registration fee. Late fees: Registrations and dive sheets postmarked after May 24, 2002 will be assessed a late fee. Late fees are $15 for late registration and $15 per late sheet. Someone who late registers and sends in late sheets for 3 events will pay $105 to enter the meet. Sheets generated on a dive verifier program would be appreciated. You can download the latest version at www.mvndive.com Awards: There will be medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Ribbons for 4th through 12th. Team Awards: There will be team awards for the top three teams. Scores will be recorded for 1st through 5th place. For the J.O. events: 1st-10, 2nd-8, 3rd-6, 4th-2, 5th -1. For the Novice events: 1st-5, 2nd-4, 3rd-3, 4th-2, 5th -1. Entries: Mail entries to Andy Savas at 3003 N. “A” Street Midland, TX 79705. Make checks payable to COM Aquatics. Coaches Meeting: Friday June 7 immediately following open workout Dive Sheets: Dive sheets can also be e-mailed or faxed.
